Katie Bryl, the maker behind Brylliant Design, is a graduate of the Savannah College of Art and Design. She's always been an artist and art runs in her family, so she grew up in a creative environment. In high school, she fell in love with digital art and media and decided that she wanted to pursue a career in Graphic Design.
The Brylliant name was inspired by her Aunt Barb, who years ago set up her email account as bbrylliant. She was young, so naturally, she thought this was the coolest thing in the whole world, but it was such a great feeling to see her last name appropriated into such a positive, inspiring thing.
This drove her design as she grew and when it came time to brand herself as a professional designer she couldn't get Brylliant out of her head. It was perfect. "Ideas... design... brilliant ideas... light bulb, click! Brylliant Design!"
